The procession took the usual route from the News Shopper building, down Queensway, under the (reverberating) railway bridge and back up Fairway - and a fair way to go it was, as well. The dancers were accompanied by the police which was a definite improvement on being accompanied by the band.
On completing the road trip, we arrived at the Memorial Hall where the May Queen was officially crowned while Kettle Bridge took some refreshment generously provided by the organisers. Not too much time for a rest, though, as the dancers were up again for a couple of dances including the spectacular Yellow Rose. The finale was Churchtown with much enthusiastic participation from young and old alike.
Another successful outing for Kettle Bridge Clogs.
